    1. Kind of weird right? I´m actually a not a funny guy in person but when I write even though I think I just have done one Haiku in my life I don´t know why I tend to go ironic-comical, comes natural when writing, I actually have to forcé myself to write seriously…..problem

  1. Hi Charlie, great effort , not sure if your American or English but I only hear three syllables in first and the last line. That is not criticism, I like your haiku just saying if you want to get the 5.7.5 rhythm.💜

    1. I´m Spanish so I try my best to keep up with my english-american reading. I did count 5-7-5. Here in Spain the syllables are A-E-I-O-U. I guess it´s different in the U.S. I like criticism, makes me a better writer. So is the syllables different in the US?

      1. I am not American I am English, I see the syllables as :first line is definitely just one syllable per word, = 3 syllables, the second line is a perfect 7, and the last line is again reads 4 syllables. It’s probably as you say the language.💜💜
